OncoCoin AG donates for a charity bicycle tour: Tour of Hope

Bad Hersfeld / Germany, Aug 02, 2022– Mayor Thomas Fehling took the opportunity at the Smart City Forum, which took place a few days ago in the Bad Hersfeld Stadthalle, to meet with the Chief Marketing Officer Claudia M. Hausoel at the booth of Innoplexus AG / OncoCoin AG. The pleasant occasion: Fehling expressed his heartfelt thanks for a 1,000 Euro donation from the company to the Tour of Hope – a charity bicycle tour.

Now, you may ask: How is it that a company that is active in the field of digitalization, artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies is involved in a charitable cycling event that is dedicated to curing children with cancer?

The founder and CEO, Dr. Gunjan Bhardwaj explains this sharply and precisely: “Innoplexus” subsidiary OncoCoin has developed an App called CURIATM App and has made it available to cancer patients.”

With the mobile app, which can be downloaded free of charge, cancer patients can find information on treatment options, the names and contact information of oncology professionals worldwide, as well as information and access to cancer drug clinical trials around the world.

The CURIATM App, whose name is intended to evoke Madame Marie Curie, guides the app user step by step through a questionnaire that records the most important diagnostic characteristics. Based on this data – which leaves the cell phone encrypted and secure to european-hosted server – precisely tailored information is then displayed.

Interesting promising drugs, clinical trials or oncology experts can be saved as favorites and discussed at the next GP visit. Cancer patients can apply for clinical trials directly via the CURIATM App.

Although this CURIATM App is in no way intended to replace a visit to the doctor, it does provide answers to important questions such as: “What are the treatment options? Which clinical trials can I participate in? Who is the expert for exactly my cancer?“ The App provides important and up-to-date assistance for cancer patients. Claudia M. Hausoel emphasizes, “We want to help patients get information faster, which will help you save important time and thus regain a bit of self-confidence and control over their own lives or how to deal with the disease.”

And this seems to work very well. Thomas Fehling had recommended the CURIATM App to affected people from his personal circle of friends and, after their positive feedback, contacted the developer company Innoplexus or OncoCoin.

OncoCoin will now also be represented with a booth in Schilde Park on August 13, 2022, when the Tour der Hoffnung (Tour of Hope) will stop in Bad Hersfeld.

Warmly thanked Claudia M. Hausoel (l.) and Carolin Rauchhaus (m.) for their donation to the Tour of Hope.

The CuriaTM for cancer patients developed on this basis is available in both the Google Play Store (Android) and the Apple Store Other apps, such as NEURIA for neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, depression, are also available in the Google Play Store and Apple Store.

Tour of Hope
The Tour of Hope is an initiative dedicated to finding a cure for children with cancer. For 37 years, the Tour of Hope has been cycling throughout Germany, collecting donations that are invested in cancer research. In addition to the more than one hundred and twenty enthusiastic cyclists in the field, numerous celebrities such as Henry Maske, Johannes B. Kerner and Magdalena Neuner are also taking part in the tour and declaring war on cancer.

On Saturday morning (August 13, 2022), the cyclists will stop at Bad Hersfeld’s Schilde Park.
